CAMP DIRECTOR - Chris Roberts (Princeton University 1998)
Coach Roberts began playing lacrosse in eighth grade, working his way up to the varsity team at Farmingdale High School on Long Island, serving as team captain in his senior year. After graduation he played for four years at Princeton, where he won three consecutive Division 1 National Championships (1996, 1997, 1998) as a close defenseman. He has been involved with the Canterbury program since 1998, serving as head coach since 2003, and with New Milford Youth Lacrosse since its inception. Over the last three seasons, his Canterbury Varsity team is 28-16. In 2009, he coached a Western New England Lacrosse Association All-American.
HEAD GIRLS' COACH - Corey Chandler (UCONN)
Coach Chandler has been the Head Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse coach at Canterbury since 2006, and had been the assistant coach since 1998. Corey is a former girls’ lacrosse official and during the last two years has been an evaluator for the Connecticut Super Juniors.
HEAD GIRLS' COACH - Sara Drexler (Colgate University 2009)
Coach Drexler began her goalkeeping career in Pennsylvania, starting three years on the Varsity team at The Hill School before moving on to Colgate University. At Colgate, she celebrated consecutive Patriot League championships and NCAA Division I tournament appearances while starting in net for three of her four years. She has been the Assistant Varsity Girls’ coach at Canterbury since 2009, working with defense and goalkeepers. In 2010, she will take over as head coach.
